In Artdoc Issue #1, 2025, Beyond the Frame: Picturing Artistic Narratives, we explore photographic storytelling through innovative and imaginative frames. The traditional frame of the classical photograph has always imposed boundaries on expression and meaning. Today, photographers are experimenting with techniques that challenge these constraints, bending reality and suggesting narratives that extend beyond the frame. In this issue, we invite you to appreciate the beauty of photography and engage with its deeper cultural significance—whether beyond or within the frame. Photography not only informs us but also serves as a counterbalance to the absurdities of daily life. In Artdoc Issue #6, 2024, Life Today, we present a broad collection of photographs portraying various aspects of our everyday lives. Life Today highlights the idea that all photographs inherently reflect the era in which we live. This issue captures the rhythms, connections, and stories that define our contemporary world. From natural landscapes to the intimacy of human relationships, and from everyday moments to abstract expressions, these photographs reveal our lives today. This issue features interviews with Richard Sharum and Mauro Curti and highlights the work of Diana Markosian, Emma Godfrey Pigott, Ludovica Limido, Mariet Dingemans, Cosimo Campagna, Hanne Jones Solfjeld, Giuseppe Satriani, Pieter Jan Boterhoek, Samara Meyer, and Olena Morozova.

These invisible threads weave universal connections between people worldwide. Lee-Ann Olwage's work gravitates around gender and identity, and she touches upon the issue of dementia. Parisa Azadi returned to her homeland and found private moments of inner emotions reflecting the country’s challenging times. Danila Tkachenko photographed Ukrainian refugees before tourist landmarks in Europe against backdrops showing the devastation of their country.
