In Artdoc Issue #1, 2025, Beyond the Frame: Picturing Artistic Narratives, we explore photographic storytelling through innovative and imaginative frames. The traditional frame of the classical photograph has always imposed boundaries on expression and meaning. Today, photographers are experimenting with techniques that challenge these constraints, bending reality and suggesting narratives that extend beyond the frame. In this issue, we invite you to appreciate the beauty of photography and engage with its deeper cultural significance—whether beyond or within the frame. Photography not only informs us but also serves as a counterbalance to the absurdities of daily life.
