The series Self-portraits becomes a kind of diary, recording emotions and fascinations with form and colour. Studying one’s own face and body, using them as material for recording subtle and ephemeral states and internal tensions becomes a form of self-therapy and self-discovery. It allows you to distance yourself from your own being and look at yourself as a subject and an object.

About
My adventure with photography began when I was 12, and I started attending photography classes. Then photography faded into the shadows, replaced by other interests and searches of the young person. Three years ago, when I turned my interest toward press photography during my research work, I decided to use the camera again. I mainly take documentary and street photos. I am attracted to the dynamics and spontaneity of the street, the lack of control over the situation, the lack of time to refine the frame and the potential possibility of catching that one unique moment that will disappear in the flow of time in a moment. The passion that photography awakened in me finally took the form of self-therapy, and self-discovery led me towards experiments with form and body.
