After discovering a unique phenomenon when running a 35mm film through a Hasselblad, I instantly identified with the orb bunt into the film. Technically it would be considered a mistake, but I loved how the orb finds its way to exist in harmony in the image. It is essentially a double exposure but from two different entry points. First, the image through the lens and then the orb was coming from the backside of the cassette. I 3D printed adapters to run 35mm film through the 120 Hasselblad cassette and discovered (unintentionally) that the lack of backing paper on the 35mm film means that the light coming in will burn itself into the image. I have taken this technique and now am exploring how to give more life to these beautiful mistakes.

About
I am an autodidactic photographer with a passion for play, exploring positive uncertainty. I don't like labels and restrictions, Favoring observation, documentation, and absorbing the world around - around the world. I hope my energy can be felt in my photographs as they result from years of dedication to analogue photography. I like to explore and capture the surroundings I find myself in. Common themes naturally have started to emerge from this exploration. Thus patterns are starting to form into collections. With a solid foundation in visual communication and an established career working as a creative across a broad range of industries and countries, I feel my work can be easily recognized by its dynamic and graphic style – always having a specific hidden detail to create an impression and intrigue that will hopefully last with the viewer long after they see one of my photos.
