This is a series inspired by classique art. I wanted to recreate in the studio the feeling of a drawing class or a painting session where we test different ways of showing the body lines without necessarily showing nudity. All the photos share the same setup, one big soft light and one black textured handmade backdrop. Only basic Lightroom adjustments were made, and no Photoshop.
I have been passionate about photography since childhood. It soon became clear to me that portraiture would become my specialty. I particularly like the relationship with the models, capturing the expressions and guiding an individual to sublimate essence.

Based in Lyon, I am currently working on collaborations in cinema and theatre, classical music and craft creation. I was born in Italy near Milan, and I have been living in France for over seven years now. My initial work as a biologist led me to travel all over the world and more particularly Europe and North America. I have had a photo studio as a side activity since 2015. I recently shifted the business towards fine art and prints. I shoot with a GFX100S and continuous lights.
