There are times when you have to dig deep to stay afloat. And it is in the depths that you can find what appears to be lost. Freedom is the collateral victim of the pandemic we have experienced and are partly still experiencing—freedom wounded by fears, blinded by restrictions, constraints, loneliness. Phototherapy helped me and a group of people to work through all these shortcomings giving life to images that could tell the free sound of the soul of each of us with visual metaphors. The inner freedom that no one can ever take away from us. The photographic technique used is Phototempism.
About
I'm Fortunata Scarponi, an amateur photographer. The camera is essential for me. It is a tool, a channel to express my creativity, the precious medium capable of capturing images and emotions. I love telling stories with my camera, creating visual metaphors. I think this is an exciting therapy for both the photographer and the photographed subject. I have lived this great passion until 2018. Then, I started to study, participating in exhibitions, events and sharing my images. My Latest exhibitions in 2020 are Smile at home, Bresciani Visual Art Roma and 2021 Festival Soriano Immagine.
