I love to experiment with my work. I am attracted to motion blur and creating abstract images. I see my work as being alive and having a life of its own. It appears as if it's moving, which has led me to look into having an immersive exhibition along the lines of Van Gogh's Alive exhibition. I'm always interested in self-expression and how that transpires for us all so differently. In the past, I did a personal project around expressing femininity and what it means after surviving breast cancer. It was a more literal interpretation of where my work has evolved to now. It is a joy to see the progression of my work as I take it from the camera and into editing software, and it always ends up completely different and unrecognisable from the original image. My synaesthesia allows me to see music in colour and movement, which inspires my work and its evolution.
