My work distinguishes itself by the underlying narratives and the focus on subtle messages. The old overused adage of "Thinking outside of the box" is often cited as a motivational phrase or even as an instruction in many different situations. The recipient must but wonder: whose box? Mine or the one of the person uttering the sentence, or the box of other people, tasked with the same "thinking exercise". The counterproductive effect of this statement is to feel "boxed in" in your creative space right from the start. How about "imagine ...." instead?
