My art is emerging from the need to reconnect with the beautiful nature that surrounds us. As a human, I enjoy the wonders of discovery and constant advancement that define us as species, but I am also sad that we overlook the wonders that are so close. The desire to overcome this condition pushed me in my own exploration, and I am happy to go further on that path day after day. I am also interested in motion, people, and storytelling which are all the important subjects I pursue when inspired.
About I am a versatile documentary and fine art photographer capturing the beauty and the peculiarities of the natural world. My professional work is at the very beginning. I’ve started with using only my camera and sun, but I’ve soon discovered that with a touch of the help of an artificial light source, I can go further, give some twist to reality, and put a unique spotlight on the amazing microcosms that surround us I work close to my subject, but not too close to make it unreal. I aim to shoot at magic hour or very early in the mornings, just before sunrise. The challenge of chasing interesting angles and intensities of natural light is the backbone of my approach. I never go out for a shoot with a plan in my mind. At the moment, I am doing my work wondering the fields and woods around the village of Robertsbridge and the surrounding East Sussex area, where I live.
