The Third Gallery Aya was originally established in 1996 in Osaka. Our first exhibition was Ishiuchi Miyako's solo show at my gallery. We represent Japanese emerging and mid-career artists within the photographic medium and deals with the international context of contemporary art and photography mainly. We have placed artwork in important public and private collections, including the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, Museum of Modern Art, New York; The J. Paul Getty Museum.; M+.
