The Hakone Museum of Photography was opened by Katsura Endo, a photographer born and raised in Hakone. His 20 photos of Mt. Fuji are a permanent exhibition at the museum (the number of photos on display varies due to the changing exhibits). Hakone's rich and sometimes mysterious atmosphere can be seen in his photos of Mt. Fuji throughout the seasons. Carefully appreciate the world of these landscape photographs that show us a different view of what we see. Special exhibitions of photographers from Japan and abroad are always being held. A café is also situated next to the museum.
