Alexander Buss began working as a freelance commercial photographer after completing his photography studies. It was always important to him to accept photographic challenges and to expand his photographic horizons. In the beginning with darkroom and exposure techniques, today with the possibilities of digital image processing. Digital photography has been an integral part of his work since the 90s.
Born in the North East of England, Paul is an observer, an opportunist with a camera. Self-taught, he bought his first real camera in 1986. Wherever he goes, his camera goes. He studies and documents all forms of daily life, idiosyncrasies, eccentricities and traditions of Britain and the British good or bad.
Daniel Seth Pagel is a worldly person spending most of his time between New York and Puebla, Mexico. Various publications including Billboard, Pikchur, Marika, Galo, OWN, and Cuarto Oscuro have included his artwork. He first theatrical short film "Aint No Sunshine" was accepted into Oaxaca Film Festival, Tlanchanafest, Tequila Film Festival and ARFF Barcelona.
Teyé (Daegu, 1985) His given name is Taejay Lee, from South Korea. Majored in BA Advertising at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. After a decade working as a creative director in creative agencies Teyé ventured to dedicate himself extensively to Chemical Photography and Alternative Processes upon taking a professional training at the GrisArt Escola Internacional de Fotografia Barcelona. Teyé mixes traditional Oriental and Occidental printing techniques & materials to create photographic art that awakens spirits and sparks emotions.
Wendi Schneider is a Denver based visual artist widely known for her ongoing series of hand gilded photographs – States of Grace. Drawn to the serenity she finds in the sinuous elegance of organic forms, she creates illuminated impressions of light on vanishing beauty in the natural world. Layering color, texture, and gold leaf, Schneider’s process creates ephemeral illusions that seemingly dance on the paper’s surface amidst reflections of light on precious metals, creating a synthesis of technique and subject.
London and Wilshire based artist, Milo Burridge, is interested in the relationship between the natural and man-made world. His work is an observation of our attempts to supersede nature through our industrial culture – and natures response to that.

In many parts of the world, humans are looking for a better life in political freedom, social justice, and happiness. In Artdoc Issue #3-2021, we bring stories of defectors, refugees and survivors. Tim Franco photographed North Korean defectors in Seoul. Charlotte Schmitz took images of refugees arriving at the Greek islands. In Peru, Max Cabello Orcasitas captured the grief of the survivors of the battles between the government and the Shining Path. Sébastien Cuvelier searched for Paradise in Iran and found walled gardens. Finally, Simon Norfolk photographed the struggle against global warming in the Swiss glaciers.
