FMoPA Holds Call For Entries For 19th Annual Members Show

Calling all photographers! The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is now accepting submissions for its 19th Annual Members Show.

Current and new museum members can submit photographic art to the show through 6:00 pm on August 31, 2020. There will be five categories featured in this year’s exhibition: Portraits, Conceptual, Documentary/ Street Photography, Nature/Still Life, and Abstract. The exhibition will be on view during the months of September and October 2020.

All submissions will be installed in the museum’s Community Gallery. Winners in each category will receive a prize awarded by our sponsors. “The Member's Show is a great opportunity for both members and the museum,” said FMoPA Executive Director Zora Carrier, Ph.D. “It allows us to showcase our members’ talents and diverse perspectives while also helping them gain exposure for their work.”

To participate in the show, each artist must already be a member of the museum or sign up for a membership at the time of the exhibition.

Members are allowed one physical entry for a $35 submission fee. Household membership holders may submit two entries. The second submission is $25 or free for monthly donors. Members can take advantage of becoming a monthly donor if they wish to submit a second entry.

Due to quickly changing CDC guidelines during the Covid pandemic, we ask all participants to also supply a digital image of their submission to be used in an online gallery.
