Buildings and cities are the lasting footprints of societies. Like a diary of a city, buildings tell the history of the place over time. When someone enters a city as a visitor, they judge the city by its buildings. By combining buildings and architectural elements, I want to make use of our collective memory. I started after my series by reading the book Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino, and it has now taken on a life of its own.
