Started in 2012 by San Diego based artist scott b. davis, Medium Photo is a non-profit organization centered around educational workshops and an annual lecture series + portfolio review in October. We are fueled by passion, spirited kindness, and unswerving dedication to creative expression through photography. Our mission is simple: to foster awareness and understanding of innovative photography. Medium is built around two core values: kindness and curiosity. We offer a supportive environment where photographers and curators interact collaboratively, where inspiration flows freely, and relationships are born organically. Founded by a working artist, every Medium interaction is built with a unique outlook and understanding for the careers of emerging and established artists.
